I have XP Professional installed on all the workstations
here at work. I cannot get them to recognise an Iomega
100MB zip drive that's plugged into the parallel port.

I know the drive works.

Any suggestions, please?

if you still have the orginal software for the Iomega
drive you need to install it.

Make sure you get the latest drivers from Iomega's website.

No drivers are needed for XP and Zip thru LPT ports.

What you need to do is this: Go to device manager... (right click my
computer -> manage)

Find your LPT port and double click it. In the port settings enable "Legacy
plug n play support"

Re-boot with zip in and powered up for auto detection.

Hope that helps.
