zip drive not recognized

I'm trying to get zip 100 external parallel drive
working.Running XP Pro. It's plugged into a port
replicator, which is usb'd into my dell laptop. I
downloaded the driver from iomega, but no luck. The drive
itself is working. Printer works through zip drive port.

There is no drive listed except for C and CDRW.

It's possible to get the Parallel Zip-100 working in Windows XP without
using any Iomega software when connected directly to a Parallel port.
Use only the relevant instructions for setting up the parallel port in
http://www.iomega.com/support/documents/10127.html

Windows XP doesn't support the configuration with a printer attached to
the Zip.

I don't think you can use the Parallel Zip-100 via USB.
