XP & Win2K

Have XP and Win2k Pro desktops connected thru linksys
router. Just want to share folders from the Win2k system
so the XP system can see them. Although both systems
appear in the XP network places window, an error message
regarding permissions keeps coming up. TCP on both,
netbios over IP on both, computer browser on both, MS
client on both, file/printer sharing on both. Seems like
on the win2k system, I need to import a user from the XP
system to give permissions, but I can't see users from
anywhere but the win2k system. The "look in" drop down is
grayed out? Any tips? Thanks.

If you are in a workgroup, you will have to add a user or users to the
Windows 2000 Pro machine with the same user name and password that they use
to log on to the XP machine.
