Networking Win2k & XP Home

My brother just recently bought a Compaq Presario 6475CL
P4 system and brought it home to add to his small home
network. This system comes preloaded with XP Home.

He already has 2 computers with Win2k Pro, one configured
for web server, the other as a standard workstation. The
network is a typical star topology using a 5 port
DSL/Cable router. The router is an SMC Barricade. All
belong to the same workgroup (MSHOME)

I cannot get the XP machine to access shares on the XP
systems, while the Win2K systems cannot seem to find the
XP system. All can access the Internet and email without
any difficulty.

I've run ipconfig /all on all to determine their addresses:
Win2k 1: 192.168.1.3
Wink2 2: 192.168.1.5
XP Home: 192.168.2.7

All systems are loaded with TCP/IP and NETBUI. NETBIOS is
activated on all systems. There are no naming conflicts.

Is there something I've overlooked? Any ideas?

Thanx!

Your WinXP is on a different subnet (192.168.2). Place
it into the same subnet as the other machines (192.168.1).
