Hi!

In Windows XP, I have just configured a new user account.
On the logon screen it shows both user names, alongwith
the number of unread emails from Hotmail accounts, that
were configured and earlier checked using Outlook Express.

All .dbx files have been deleted from the PC. However
there is one particular Outlook Express Profile that
cannot be deleted since I cannot remember the password put
for that profile.

1. Is there any way of deleting that Outlook Express
profile if the password cannot be known? If not, how does
one go about uninstalling and then later re-installing
Outlook Express?

2. How does one get rid of the logon information
displaying the number of unread emails from X number of
hotmail accounts?

Windows XP Powertoys Tweak UI. You can set whether you want the e-mail
notification at Logon. Powertoys is available for download at the
Microsoft site.
