XP upgrade

I have tried to install XP home(upgrade) to get rid of WIN
ME which has been playing up and lost my modem driver so
now cannot connect with that PC to get missing files to be
able to complete upgrade.
I need it seems 'txtsetup.sif' and some help on where to
save it?

Thierry2,

How are you trying to upgrade to XP? Did you buy a retail copy of XP and
are installing from cd? Txtsetup.sif is a file that setup should create and
place on your hard drive. It should get created at the root of your
installation partition. Does that help any?
