XP startup problems

just started having startup problems with XP Pro. 1. it
takes a longer time to start and end. 2. startup
programs load but not all of them show up in the systray.
3. explorer opens at start with the windows\system32
folder displayed. All this started after installing a
linksys wireless router/access point and setting up a
home network.

1. Try disblaing some programs at the startup. Goto Start>.Run>>Type
"msconfig" and goto the Startup Tab.
