XP start

I loaded a newer version of XP on my desk top and now after the restart I
can't start windows. I tried safe mode, normal mode, and more. Won't start
with XP CD either. No luck, and I don't know how to get into my computer to
check anything without windows open. Please help.

You need at least to expand on what you mean / did by 'loaded a newer
version of XP', and why
