XP freezes while loading

I downloaded Norton 360 upgrade and installed it, after the restart xp
freezes during the xp load screen. I contacted symantec and they removed my
install of 360 but xp still wont load.

I repaired it with my install cd but still no go, it will start in safe
mode. I'm hopeing there is something I can do besides a re-install of
everything.
