I cannot set Auto Play options (via My Computer - select Drive & set auto

I can access the files but not open with the Microsoft Scanner & Camera Wizard
I do not have Real Player 10 Installed (at least It does not appear on ADD
or REMOVE Programs
Tried several fixes found elsewhere in similar threads but not one that works
Tried Editing User & Computer setting (enabling /disabling Auto Play options

More details would help such as make / model of camera.

A general suggestion is to download the camera's driver and photo
utilities.

Card readers behave like drives and will not play the photos
"natively."

Hi Smlunatick
I never connect the camera direct - I use Compact Flash
The Dialogue box prompting me to choose what I want to do (transfer files
using Microsoft Scanner & Camera Wizrd is the choice I want) no longer
appears -it used to.
My F drive usb removeable storage shows the all my photos OK and I can open
& edit etc.
If I go to the F Drive Properties select Auto Play options and choose
'prompt me to select' for pictures etc. The Dialogue box does not appear when
I reinsert the Compact Flash Card even after a re-boot
It works fine on my laptop but not my desktop
I can only access the photos via Explorer
I have used the Camera Wizard on my desktop for several years but recently
it just disappeared
I down load some 300 photos a day - rename them all - and place in some 20
different folders
The Camera Wizard is ideal for this and normally takes about 20 minutes
If import all the photos to my C drive I can preview, print, edit etc
What is too time consuming is renaming photos and posting to diferrent folders
It also involves renumbering all the photos in eachfolder ?????? 001.jpg etc
as not all photos are used (some deleted)
I have to have sequential numbering starting 001 for th photos to appear in
the right place of a Excel Report
The Camera Wizard is set up fot this - but where has it gone & how can I get
it back
