XP re-install hanging w/35 min remaining while 'Installing Devices'

Doing an XP re-install, setup hanging with 35 minutes
remaining while 'Installing Devices'. Re-stared setup a
number of times with same result. Re-installation
required because of corrupted ntoskrnl.exe and other files.

Make the mouse and keyboard use the same ports, IF they are both PS2 or USB this should not happen
