My XP PRO starts up, and the screen remains blank,with
the power light remaing yellow, even though the computer
is on, and the mouse in working. (Its red light is
visible) All cables work perfectly. After closing the
computer "manually", with ON/OFF switch, several times,
waiting in between shutoff and turning on, the screen
works again. This has happened several times,but not
every time, and without apparent cause, and is most
frustrating.
Any suggestion? It does not appear to be a hardware
problem, because when the screen works, it works well for
as long as the computer remains turned on.
