XP PRO INSTALL ERROR

Hi and Thbaks if you respond...

I'm trying to install XP Pro on a brand new HDD, it
formats then starts the intsall process then fails I get
this error pops up in a window

"fatal error

The Digital signature catalog D:\i386\nt5.cat could not be
installed.

Error Code fffffc06"

any help can be good. The M-Board and CPU are new also
as well as PC3200 256mg ram.

Your hardware may be new, but some of it is faulty, probably the RAM.
