fatal error 800b0100

Trying to re-install windows xp pro, keep getting the following fatal error
after setup has finished copying files over and machine has rebooted to
continue installation:

"The signature for windows xp professional setup is invalid.

The error code is 800b0100.

No signature was present in the subject.

Setup failed to install the product catalogs. This is a fatal error. The
setup log files should contain more information.

Can anyone help me?

Sorted now.

Took my audigy2 soundcard out and unpluged my dvd writer.

Weird!
