XP PRO Educational Update

I have just bought XP PRO (educational) for my grandson and this has
successfully installed on top of W98SE.
Following breakup of his parents' marriage he spends his week between his
mum and dads and my home and he has W98SE (or Millennium) on his computers.
Is it OK for him to buy another 2 XP PRO Educational updates so that he has
all 3 computers the same.

Yes. As long as he's eligible for academic pricing on software packages then
go for it. Depending on the cost of all these computers and copies of
Windows and Office you might have considered a laptop!
