xp pro 64 install

I downloaded the 64bit xp pro install, but when I try to install over an
existing 2000 Server install, it tells me to run it from DOS. When I boot to
the CD, it tells me that it cannot be run from DOS. Am I just stupid?

The correct group to post questions to is the one that is to support the x64
preview releases of BOTH Windows XP and Windows Server 2003
Instruction for access are at

You cannot install the x64 build over anything - boot from the CD.
You should not see any messages about DOS, as long as you made the CD
correctly from the ISO image, and set you BIOS to boot from CD and you
Pressed a key when prompted on screen.
