XP or SP2 preventing a software intallation

Hi, I'm desperate install a program called Menupro into my Gateway 710 x
computer. I'm running XP Pro. I've tried every way to install it but the
program will not show any sign of installing. All I hear is the disk spinning
in the D drive. I've talked to the companies tech support and they tell me
they have sold 10,000 of them and never had this problem.
I have checked out my D drive and it is fine. Any ideas if it is the SP2
blocking it? Or?

Could you provide a bit more info?
E.g When you run the executable, what happens? Any error messages?
Also, are you an Administrator on this Computer?
