Hi
I use Windows virtual PC (XP Mode) to run an older version of Photoshop.
When I use Disk cleanup the compress old files takes around 20 minutes do its job.
I used CCleaner first but it still takes 20 minutes.
Is this normal or should I be deleting some of these files, if so how do I do that.
Thanks.

At a guess I'd say it's taking those programs longer as it's deleting within a virtual drive but twenty minutes does seem like a long time.

On this machine I have 4 disks, total space 3.6Tb and it takes cCleaner about 2 minutes to clean that up.

Probably not much help to you, let's hope somebody more knowledgeable than I can step in with an explanation.

Thanks for the replies.
I understand how to delete a file or folder.
But what and where are the compressed folders.

where they are doesn't matter, if you delete a file or folder that happens to be compressed, so be it.

you can, if not already done, show hidden files & folders quite easily. Tho', to be honest, you should not go deleting these, just leave them be.
