XP, loop from boot to standby or hibernate...

Hi All,

I've one computer that go immediately after the post and the windows logo to
a black screen with 'Power save mode, press any key or move the mouse...'.
It is stuck in this process, and nothing awake it.

It do it at every boot -> pc is unusable...

I can run in safe mode, but find nothing:
- Power is set to always on
- I cannot go back to a system save in safe mode...


Any Idea ?

If you run an XP "Upgrade"setup, from the original, or "Gold" version of the setup CD, and you have SP2 installed, it might go into
a setup loop, and you will lose your install. Uninstall SP2, BEFORE you do a Upgrade setup from CD (that lacks sp2 on it.)
