XP Installation Stuck!!!

Hello. I am trying to install XP Pro on my PC but after it loads all the system files and drivers, it just says "Setup is starting Windows". I has been stuck in this position for about an hour now. I tried this using the startup disks and also the CD, I get the same results. The hard drive was repartitioned and formatted before I started the XP installation process. Please help at earliest convenience. Thanks.

You have hardware that requires third party drivers. If possible disconnect
all external devices and unnecessary internal hardware until after WinXP is
installed.
