XP Installation ERROR

Chris

I attempted to update win 98 to XP pro SP1 -- but ran in
to a virus. The DVD drive that will read the install CD
is not the boot CD. I created a boot disk set from the
Microsoft site. Booted, attempted to delete the current
partition and install XP. I get the following error

The follwoing value in the .SOF file used by setup is
corrupted or missing.
Value 0 on line in section [Source disks files] with
key "SP1.cab"
Setup can not continue. To quit setup press F3

Does anybody have a suggestion as to what this is and how
to correct it ?

Apparently, you downloaded the wrong set of setup boot disks.
If your Windows XP CD includes SP1, then you must use
the setup boot disks meant for Windows XP with SP1.
