Windows XP Pro

Dave

Good evening!

I am trying to install Window XP Pro on a new hard drive.
Shortly after going through its partitioning sequence the
setup routine stops and displays the following message:

THE FOLLOWING VALUE IN THE .SIF FILE USED BY SETUP IS
CORRUPTED OR MISSING.

VALUE 0 ON THE LINE SECTION [SOURCEDISKSFILES] WITH
KEY "SP1.CAB."

SETUP CANNOT CONTINUE. TO QUIT SETUP, PRESS F3,

Prior to running the Windows XP Pro setup cd-rom, I
downloaded from Microsoft the "Windows XP Professional
Utility: Setup Disks For Floppy Boot Install." I loaded
these floppys before running the Windows XP Pro setup cd-
rom. The floppys installed without incident.

Based on what little I have said do you have any
suggestions on what went wrong...can I fix it...or is
there another way to load Win XP Pro on my hard drive.

Thank you and have a great evening where ever you may be!!
