.SIF file error while installing the XP Rro

What could be the reason for the .SIF file rror.

I'm trying to install WinXP Pro on a new system. System boots with the CD
ROM, copies the fils makes the partitions and after that gives the error that

'The following values in the .SIF file used by setup is corrupted or missing:

Value 0 on the line isn section [SourceDiskFiles]' with key "cdrom.sys" .

Setup cannot continue. To quit Setup, press F3.

I've also chnaged the HDD. Put the memory in differetn bank. But same error.
Now I'll try to change the CD Rom.

Download the XP Setup boot disks and try again. See:

Note: Make sure you download the version that matches your install cd-rom.
For example, if your install CD-ROM includes SP1, download the boot floppies
for SP1
