New XP Pro install freezes

tNew hard drive, Boot from CD, Install appears to complete. Attempt to run
windows, ERROR. Windows cannot run, missing or corrupt "PSI" file. Attempt to
boot from CD to "repair" windows. Windows setup up freezes at "Windows Setup"
screen. Can not get past this to "repair" windows.

Did you install all the latest hardware drivers from the individual hardware
device manufacturers?
