install ok, when re-booting, get i/o device error with
this sxs.dll:syntax error on manifest or policy file
message. everything new except mouse and keyboard.
 
Is the Windows XP CD also new? Is it an Upgrade or OEM CD. OEM CDs, often
misleadingly called "full" versions (no such thing), are also very often
hardware-specific. Can you provide more details in a new posting? At this
point, one is in the realm of guesswork in trying to suggest a solution for
you.
