Xp Home edition upgrade

I just bought a Compaq pesario 2168AE and i wanted to know if i can upgrade the home edition of XP to Xp Professional Edition. How do i go about doign it and is The laptop compitable with the upgrade.

Just put in the CD let it autorun and take it from there. It's pretty
simple.
