XP Home crash problem

Rob

I'm getting some crashes quite often (a few times per hour) and need some
assistance in identifying the problem.
Here's a quick summary:

From Event Viewer it's Event 1000 showing up as 99% of the errors. (relates
to Error log below too)

From the Error Log, these two are most common:
1. Faulting application iexplore.exe, version 6.0.2800.1106, faulting module
iml32.dll, version 8.5.1.104, fault address 0x0006c1aa.

2. Faulting application iexplore.exe, version 6.0.2800.1106, faulting module
dirapi.dll, version 8.5.1.104, fault address 0x00031e33

From BSOD I get varying faults: ( mostlyOX...8E and sometimes OX...7E)

I've done a Clean install of XP, installed all the MS updates possible, no
new hardware since new, and believe have all the latest drivers installed.

Is the above enough to tell what my problem is? I'd especially like to know
about Event 1000.

Thanks for any assistance.
Rob
