Every now and then my machine freezes. As long as I use
it, it does not freeze. As soon as I leave it for a 1/2-2
hours it freezes. I disbaled screen-locks, hd-locks etc.

Any help, appreciated!

By disabled "locks" I take it to mean you disabled the power off functions?
What about the screensaver?
If your running a screensaver that ues 3D accelaration that may be your
problem in which there are many solutions including updated video drivers
etc.

Try disabling the screensaver and see if the problem gos away, this will
narrow down the possibilities.

When disabling power saver, did you check both the bios,
and windows power saver functions. If you disable windows
power saver, the BIOS could could have its own power saver
options.
