XP Fast User Switching logon trouble

Hello,

With FUS enabled if a hidden user (one that is not shown on Welcome
screen, like Administrator) performs "Switch User" operation, he gets
switched to Welcome screen, where, of course, Administrator's icon
isn't present. But if an attempt is made to get back to
Administrator's account by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del, the Logon box does
not appear. Only after logging on to non-hidden user's account and
then logging off it is possible to get back to Administrator's
account.
Quite an annoying behavior, I'd say.
I did many searches on the web, but couldn't find any solution. Seems
like nobody else had this problem (or paid any attention to it).

Any ideas appreciated!

This is by design. The built in Administrator account can only be accessed via CTRL-ALT-DEL if no users are logged on. To enable the Administrator account on the new Windows XP logon screen, visit my web site, www.dougknox.com and go to the Windows XP section. Follow the link for Enable Administrator Account ......

This small VB Script will make the registry change necessary for the Administrator account to be available on the Welcome Screen.
