XP & DOS Games

I have 2 games, 7th Guest & 11th Hour. I have searched
everywhere I can think of to get some form of patch to run
these old games. Someone did tell me that they thought
these were available but I just can't find them. I know
these games are still very popular. Can anyone point me in
the right direction?

Thanks very much.

Hi Tony,

7th Guest and 11th Hour have a lot of fans who play it using XP. This article:
http://pub44.ezboard.com/ftheseventhguestandeleventhhourfrm1.showMessage?topicID=236.topic shares some of the techniques they use
to run it successfully.

Here's some general supplemental information which you should find useful ;-) ...

When a game is a DOS game, it could work using compatibility mode:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=292533 or by using the Multiboot
bootdisk from: http://members.ozemail.com.au/~lpcd/downloads.html .

With DOSBOX you can emulate a DOS computer on your XP desktop:
http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/information.php

If you prefer to explore other advanced methods, here are two of the best
tutorials I've found on the subject: http://www.dosgames.com/xphints.php
and: http://home.earthlink.net/~angeldancer27/XpGameList.htm :)
