XP Client does not see W2K Server

We have a new group of client computers (XP SP2) that do not see one of our
W2K backup servers in our domain. However, these same units do see other
servers in the domain (the PDC and numerous backup servers). If we go to
"tools" to map a drive we cannot browse to the missing server. However, we
can manually enter \\{server}\{share} and the user is able to map a drive to
this same server. Thus, the users rights are correct on the share. Thoughts
on what we are missing? Thanks.

Solution Found!

I discovered that our DHCP table was NOTt handing out the proper sub-net.
Once this issue was resolved (corrected the sub-net) all was well! Thanks to
everyone for your help.
