If you don't have an XP CD then you can go to www.microsoft.com and do some searching and find their
tool that will make a floppy boot set for either PRO or
HE. You will need six floppies. Have fun.
get a win98se startup disk[ add/remove has a button to make one]. when you
boot up the xp pc choose with cdrom. you will see a: the disk using, b: if
you have anything on as b: like a ls240 usb it will show
c: int hdd,d: ram drive, e: the internal cdrom. if you add the proper
drivers to the config.sys and autoexec.bat file you could have backpack
drives on parallel pot for example.
