XP Backups

I know i can manually add the backup from my xp home cd. I
bought my pc with everything loaded. All I have is restore
disks. How do I manually load my backup from that?

Recovery CDs are specific to the vendor. Contact the vendor.

Some OEMs have determined their users do not need these optional
files.
If that is the case, and you need a back-up utility, you need to use a
3rd party solution.
