XP Annoying sticking problem

Hi folks,

I have not been here in a while, since i have not had any problems.
This one has been cropping up quite a bit for me.

I can be doing anything on my machine from word processing to high end
gaming and windows just sticks and goes nowhere. If there is music on,
it stops?

Does anyone have any ideas what it could be? The only was to combat it
is to use my reset button on my case.

Hope someone can help.

The fact that at totally random times, my computer freezes Tom, i was

that Tom answered at the beginning of my thread. I was only looking fo

Hi BFG
Check in Control panel/Admin Tools/Event Viewer and see if there are any
error messages that could help solve your problem.

Thank you very much for your help Bill. There are only two warnings and
they are for connection attempts. To be exact, "concurrent TCP connect
attempts".

Not sure what this means?...
