XP allows only "one" DVD-RW to be set in "recording" tab

As you know, there is "recording" tab under properties of your DVD-RW
drive. I have 2 DVD-RW drives and i select "Enable CD recording on
this drive" which allows XP's built-in service to manage DVD-RW's
write function.

The question is: If i try to select this checkbox for "all" the drives
on the system(more than one,2) , after next boot up, one of the
checkboxes(not drive, only checkbox) goes away and becomes unselected
and only one drive is stayed as "checked" this option.

Why?

I'm guessing but I'll bet it's because Windows will only allow you to have
one, and one only CD/DVD burner selected. Period.

Nope, XP supports multiple CD/DVD burners.

Please clarify, i know XP supports more than one drive, but the
problem is: XP and its IMAPI service (which is also turned on via
"recording" tab in drive's properties) only allows ONE drive to be
checked in "recording" tab, therefore only ONE drive can benefit from
IMAPI.

Jerry is correct about Windows XP only allows you only to have one CD/DVD
burner selected to record to when using XP IMAPI service, I read your
original post wrong. I thought you were missing the Recording tab for one of
the CD/DVD burners.

I apologize to you and Jerry for the confusion.
