Over a beer or 2 recently a friend & I were trying to come up with the worse place to go on holiday.
The 2 we thought the worst would be Iraq & Afghanistan at the moment, do they cater for tourists?

Or is their a place you know that's worse!

Chernobyl or North Korea too

It's a shame really as there would be some really interesting things to see in Iraq - perhaps one day. :)

Snorkeling in the Dead sea?

I was gonna say Mersey but there is actually lots down there that you can go and see anyway. It's lots cleaner that it used to be and Even the Porpoise would admit it ;)

I object to you bring up Southend-on-Sea FBS....
Do you have any idea how much fun I've had being repeatedly pulled over on the "Golden Mile" there by the police.

Always fun :p

Perfect place if you like cars, fights or nightclubs.
(First and later for me... although I have had to split a few of the 2nd up when I been out after visiting friends and family there)

Blimey you mean it's worse than Weston-Super-Mare!
Will i suppose at least it's got a decent pier.

Aye, a nice train ride over the mud flats always lifts the spirits :D

One of my daughters actually won a cuddly toy tiger in one of those crane machines in the amusement arcade on the pier at Weston Super Mare when she was about 8 years old.

Not any more she won't ;)

Weston-super-Mare is bit of a ghost town since the pier went up in flames.
It was one of the longest piers, seems that South End has a long pier too!
