Work Offline

Whenever I open up my IE6. I get an error window
WORKOFFLINE ---> CANCEL OR CONNECT. And when I click
cancel it again comes up. And connect then webpage
unavailable offline. I have a dsl connection. Please
specify

A few things to try:

1. A registry edit:

3. If you have an unneeded DUN connection setup, remove it. (Ctrl Panel>
Dial-Up Networking )
4. In Ctrl Panel> Network> Configuration, remove unneeded components (such
as Dial-Up Adapter)
5. Do you have the latest version of whatever PPPoE software your ISP
provides? Check with your ISP/.

[Last resort]
If your PPPoE software is Enternet 300, some people report better
performance from RASPPPOE http://www.raspppoe.com/ Your ISP will not
provide tech support for RASPPPOE.
