Problem surfing the web.....PLEASE HELP!!!!!

when clicking internet explorer on my laptop a box prompts saying web page
unavailable offline.....

i check my internet connection and its perfect.....

so i press try again....

then the explorer prompts and is blank for like a minute and the bottom says
......

Downloading from site: res://C:\WINDOWS\System32\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm


after about a minute the page says webpage unavilable offline....

please help......I've called ISP, router company and pc card company and
all have no answer for me and claim there product is doing what its supposed
to....only thing i can guess is theres something wrong with my
internetexplorer6 on my windows xp......

First thing to check - start IE and go to the File menu upper left - make
sure "Work offline" is not checked. Can you type in a URL in IE's address
box and navigate from there?
