Word reboots machine after SP4 installed

Hi, I installed SP4 for Win 2000, now whenever I open
Word (Office 2000) within a few keystrokes my machine
reboots. If I do not use word the machine runs as per
normal. All other applications run as prior to SP 4
upgrade. Any ideas?

Hi there Fester.
I have the same problem when using MS Office 97 pro.
Word and word pad causes a reboot along with ms access 97 when opening a
report file.
The only way I fixed this was to back out SP4 and go back to SP3.
Gates has fried us again!
If you hear of a fix for this please advise.
