Wireless Mouse Freezes After Standby

After about 12 months of trouble free use my MS Wireless
Optical Mouse Blue has started freezing as I come out of
standby, but not every time. I have to reboot to continue.

I have tried all the MS Troubleshooting ideas but to no
avail. I am using Windows XP Home. Recent changes to my
system include a new DVD R/W drive, and a couple of games.

I would appreciate all suggestions, thank you.

did u try checking the battery level for the mice.

Did you try to uninstall the drivers for the mice and then reinstall the same.

Thanks M. Rajesh,

Uninstall and reinstall has done the job. I had
downloaded driver version 5.0 over my original 4.1 but
obviously the gremlin remained. All seems OK now.
