Depending upon the make of the keyboard and mouse you may have a problem. However, your Keyboard and mouse came with an install disk. Do a reinstall. Also, check the manual that came with the stuff. It may make reference to working with XP. Mine did. I had to reinstall XP and then had to do a reinstall of all the peripherals. Good luck.
