WinXP keeps changing settings

I recently did a fresh install of WinXP pro. One problem that keeps cropping
up is WinXP keeps changing the way I view my files.

I set it to view in detail mode and about every few days it returns to tiles
mode.

Any idea as to why this happens?

By default xp only remembers 400 folder views. Get the fix here to remember
8000 folder views, then set your views and apply to all folders.
