Explorer losing Views settings.

I use Windows Explorer all the time. I have it set to classic mode with the
folders view on and detail file view.
Recently it seems to have developed a problem where the files window on the
right randomly changes to Tiles view.

I reset the window to details, but it is not persistent. If I change to a
different folder then return to the one that flipped to Tiles view, it is
back at Tiles view.

KB813711 discussed how to fix this in pre-SP2 installs, but I have SP2.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

One thing you didn't mention is whether you set the "Remember each folder's
view settings" checkbox in folder options.
