winxp isn't loading

hi!
i'm kind of new to computers and i'd really appreciate if someone can
help. i had two os s in my computer - win xp (pro) and win 98. it was
working fine untill a few days back when the boot option screen doesn't
come on at all and only win 98 loads. i want to access xp as it has
important data and some s/ws installed. how can i get back access to
win xp?

Hi,

I am quite forget about Win 98 stuffs but you can try the following method.
Go to run under start menu in your Win 98 and type in msconfig and enter.

Under boot.ini tab, you will your two OSs under [operation systems],
remember to check all boot paths first and if you want set, you can set the
Windows XP as default, be sure to check there are sufficient time in timeout
box.
