Access to Norton Antivirus, Hotmail and MSN 5.0 cease to
exist.

I type in "regsvr32 wintrust.dll" in the run prompt and
everything works for about two days.

Then the same thing. What causes wintrust.dll to
go "awol" or whatever it is doing?

Hi Rob,

Have you tried expanding a new copy of that file?

Hi Rick

you say to expand a new copy of the original file. Is
that different from just typing "regsvr32 wintrust.dll"?

Just wondering.

Thanks
Rob

Hi,

That reregisters the file, what I mentioned was extracting a new copy from
the I386 folder.

Yes it is different. regsrv32 registers the file. Expanding it from
source actually replaces the existing file.

Thank

Will give that a try!
