I just tried to install WinFax Pro and near the end it said something
about the "spooler" was running & I needed to manually shut it down???
What in the world is a spooler & how do I shut it down (and should I
shut it down?)

Try turning off your printer. Or if you have a printer icon in your taskbar,
close it. Most of the time you can install software without closing programs
but it's a good idea to close all running programs before installing new
software.

You can buy a multifuctiob PCSFax printerfor less than WFax Pro and you have a much easier to use setup.

Printer is off....no icon in the taskbar & still getting the same
response.
