suddenly, i am unable to open more than one window at a time. it keeps
opening up new page in the same window. how can i fix it so i can have more
than 1 window open at 1 time??

I'm assuming you're talking about an Explorer Window (i.e. My Documents
etc.)

Open an Explorer Window as normal. click Tools, Folder Options and look in
the middle frame for Browse Folders. Tick the option that says "Open each
folder in its own window". Now just OK that and try opening a new Window.

Try internet options..advanced tab and be sure 'reuse windows for launching
shortcuts' is not checked.
