okay so i have windows xp sp3. my computer shut off becuase the light went
out for like 2 sec. so anyway, this resulted in the computer not being shut
off properly and now everytime i start the comp i get the message
start windows properly
start last known configuratoion
safe mode

but whenever i click on any of it, the windows loads and the comp restarts

Try one of these:

starting"

A complete Stop Error report would help!

Disable automatic restart on system failure. This should help by
allowing time to write down the STOP code properly. Keep pressing the F8
key during Start-Up and select option - Disable automatic restart on
system failure.

Do not re-enable automatic restart on system failure until you have
resolved the problem. Check for variants of the Stop Error message.

Hope this helps.
