Windows XP Won't Let Me Get To The Internet

I hooked our computer up to DSL a couple of months ago, and it was working
just fine. Then just last week, I tried to click on Netscape 7.1 (which let's
you get onto DSL), and a window wouldn't show up, and it still won't. If
anybody knows how to fix this, PLEASE help me out.
Thank You!

Netscape works fine with XP and DSL. Be sure that the
EDIT|PREFS|ADVANCED|PROXIES section is set to "direct connection to Net."

Install the latest NS7.2 from http://netscape.com or try Mozilla 1.7, on
which NS7.2 is based; it's virtually the same program without the
commercial add-ons. Read about it at http://mozilla.org.

For a standalone, fast browser (no mail/news/chat, etc.), try FireFox,
from the Mozilla site. These products are generally superior to I.E.,
which can be used as a backup when NS or Moz cannot access a page that
uses MS-centric coding.
