Windows XP Won't Boot Up

just had someone report the very same thing to me - I'd
also be interested to hear any views
 
Yes i do believe this is tracable to the presence of a
virus - at least it was in my case. the virus in
question ? --> W32.Pinfi virus.
 
I'm having the same problem (started yesterday). How do I
get rid of the virus? It's not listed on symantec. . .
